Cookie Policy
Effective July 20, 2026
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device to store data that can be recalled by a web server in the domain that placed the cookie. We use cookies and similar technologies for storing and honoring your preferences and settings, enabling you to sign in, providing security, and analyzing how our platform performs.
2. Strictly Necessary Cookies
The vast majority of cookies used by ONYX are strictly necessary for the core functionality and security of the platform. You cannot opt out of these cookies as the application will not function without them.
- Authentication (Supabase): We use secure, HTTP-only session cookies to keep you logged in and authorize your API requests.
- Security (Cloudflare): Bot mitigation and network routing cookies required to defend against DDoS attacks and secure the edge network.
- Payments (Stripe): Fraud prevention cookies required during the secure checkout flow.
3. Analytics and Tracking
We adhere to a strict minimal-tracking philosophy. We do not use intrusive third-party marketing cookies (e.g., Facebook Pixel, Google Ads) to track you across the internet.
If we introduce non-essential analytics cookies in the future to understand platform usage, we will request your explicit consent via a cookie banner before they are set, in compliance with the ePrivacy Directive and GDPR.
4. Managing Your Cookies
You can set your browser to refuse all or some browser cookies, or to alert you when websites set or access cookies. However, if you disable or refuse strictly necessary authentication cookies, you will be unable to log in or use the ONYX platform.
